

MICHAEL C. BODSON is Executive Managing Director, Business Management, Strategy & Marketing at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the world's largest post-trade securities clearance and infrastructure organization. He is also Chairman of EuroCCP, a wholly owned subsidiary of DTCC, and a board member of Omgeo, DTCC's joint venture with Thomson Financial. Based in New York City, Mr. Bodson reports directly to DTCC President and CEO Donald F. Donahue.
Mr. Bodson is responsible for consolidating under one umbrella the product management of all DTCC business lines as well as strategic planning, relationship management and marketing. His responsibilities also include oversight of DTCC's core clearance and settlement businesses, its custody and asset servicing businesses, the processing support DTCC provides to the mutual fund and insurance sectors, plus DTCC's expanding business for automating the post-trade processing of over-the-counter derivatives.
A former director of DTCC, Mr. Bodson spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held a number of positions including that of managing director and global head of operations. In the mid-1990's, he served as head of Finance, Administration and Operations for Morgan Stanley in Tokyo and, prior to that, held similar responsibilities for the firm in Hong Kong. Earlier in his career, he worked at Bear Stearns and Price Waterhouse.
A certified public accountant, Mr. Bodson graduated summa cum laude from Boston College.
