Stuart Z. Goldstein

Managing Director, Corporate Communications

 STUART Z. GOLDSTEIN was named Managing Director of Corporate Communications for The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in 1999, when DTCC was established.  

Mr. Goldstein joined National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC), now a DTCC subsidiary, in 1991 as Vice President of Corporate Communications.  He was named Managing Director of Corporate Communications for NSCC in 1998.

Previously, Mr. Goldstein was Director of Corporate Communications at American Express, and Vice President and Deputy Director of National Public Affairs at Citicorp. Prior to his corporate positions, he spent a number of years in New Jersey State Government, including positions as Manager of Legislative Affairs for the State's Public Advocate and a State Ombudsman.

Mr. Goldstein currently serves on the Advisory Board for the graduate program in corporate communications at Fairleigh Dickinson University and recently joined the editorial board of Strategic Communications Management magazine.

Mr. Goldstein's research on best practices in Corporate Communications and the introduction of innovative strategies using technology have been the basis for a number of articles he's authored for publications in the U.S. and overseas.  In addition, he contributed a book chapter for the Public Relations Society of America's Practical Public Affairs in an Era of Change, which was published in 1996.

Mr. Goldstein graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and earned a Master of Arts degree in American government from Rutgers University.
