JAMES KOSTER is Managing Director, DTCC Marketing and Relationship Management.

Mr. Koster joined a DTCC subsidiary, The Depository Trust Company (DTC), in 1978 as a Senior Securities Officer, Relationship Management. He was promoted to Vice President of that department in 1984. In 1987, he was transferred to the Operations Division where he assumed responsibility for Securities Processing. In 1992, he was transferred to Information Services and in 2001, he transferred to Product Marketing and Development.

Prior to joining DTC, Mr. Koster worked in product planning and development positions for Midwest Securities Trust Company and the Quaker Oats Company.

Mr. Koster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Hope College, and a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University. He has also completed the program for management development at the Harvard Business School.
