CHERYL LAMBERT is currently managing director of operations for DTCC's Asset Services, which routinely handle more than $3.2 trillion in cash dividend, interest, redemption and reorganization payments to the securities industry.  Her responsibilities involve overseeing key functions including trade settlement within DTCC's depository and clearing corporations, underwriting services, DTCC's Global Corporate Actions Validation Service and GCA@Source, which provides announcement services for dividends, redemptions and other corporate actions. She oversees staff supporting these functions both at DTCC's U.S. locations and at the company's offices in London and Shanghai.  In addition, Ms. Lambert oversees the role of Operations in supporting the development and implementation over the next few years of DTCC's reengineered underwriting and corporate actions systems. 

A founding member of DTC's Quality Council, Ms. Lambert also has responsibility for leading the company's business reengineering initiatives within DTCC's Quality Office. This includes the expansion of formal Six Sigma-level assessments throughout Operations as well as the implementation of the production version of DTCC's Balanced Business Scorecard methodology.

Most recently DTCC's managing director for Risk Management, Ms. Lambert joined DTCC's depository subsidiary in 1980 and has served as vice president for Information Technology, Settlement and Underwriting, and Securities Processing.  Prior to coming to DTCC, Ms. Lambert worked for Automated Data Processing and Marketing/Client Services for Farlen Systems, Inc.

Ms. Lambert is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.  Ms. Lambert also attended New York University's Graduate School for Business and completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard's Business School.
