Ellen Fine Levine
Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

 ELLEN FINE LEVINE is Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Named to the position in 2004, Ms. Levine has responsibility for all financial activities of DTCC and its subsidiaries.  She is also Chairman of the company's Capital Acquisition Committee and serves on the DTCC Employee Benefit Plans Committee. 

Ms. Levine's previous position at the company was Managing Director of Finance, where she was responsible for all risk management efforts at DTCC and its subsidiaries, a position she held since 1999, when DTCC was formed through the integration of the National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) and the Depository Trust Company (DTC).  Ms. Levine joined NSCC in 1996 as Vice President/Director Membership, Compliance and Risk and in 1998 was promoted to Managing Director, Risk Management and Surveillance. 

Before joining NSCC, Ms. Levine was Director of Credit and Risk Management for Cowen and Co., and 1991 to 1995, she was Managing Director for Mabon Securities Corporation/IMI. She also served as Treasurer and Director of Credit for L.F. Rothschild and Company for four years and was a senior auditor at Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers).  

Ms. Levine is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York in Albany. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
