

ELLEN FINE LEVINE became Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of DTCC in April 2004, after holding the position of Managing Director, Finance, since early 2003. Levine has responsibility for all financial activities of DTCC and its subsidiaries. She is a member of DTCC’s Executive Leadership team and serves on the DTCC Employee Benefit Plans Committee and Internal Risk Management Committee.
Prior to 2003, Levine was responsible for all risk management efforts at DTCC and its subsidiaries, a position she had held since 1999, following the formation of DTCC through the integration of NSCC and DTC. Levine joined NSCC in 1996 as Vice President/Director, Membership, Compliance and Risk; and in 1998 was promoted to Managing Director, Risk Management and Surveillance.
Before joining NSCC, Levine was Director of Credit and Risk Management for Cowen and Co. From 1991 to 1995, she worked for Mabon Securities Corporation/IMI as a Managing Director, and from 1985 to 1989, she was Treasurer and Director of Credit for L.F. Rothschild and Company. From 1978 to 1987, Levine worked in various financial capacities, including senior auditor at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
Levine is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York in Albany. She is also a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA. Levine is a Board member of the Brooklyn Bureau of Community Services and is Chair of their Development Committee.
