JOHN ZIAMBRAS is Managing Director and General Manager of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC)'s Insurance Services division and oversees the marketing, business development, product and relationship management functions.  DTCC's Insurance Services provides an automated, centralized system that electronically links insurance carriers with broker/dealers, banks, and financial planners for the exchange of information and money settlement during the sale and support of annuities and life insurance products.

Prior to joining DTCC, Mr. Ziambras was Vice President of National Accounts for Prudential Select Brokerage, a division of the Prudential Financial, Inc.  He served Prudential's largest national general agents and producer groups in a distribution and marketing capacity and he also focused on the development of Prudential's expanding third-party distribution channels such as certified public accountants and independent financial planners.

Before Prudential, Mr. Ziambras was the Manager of the National Insurance Consulting Practice of KPMG LLP in New York City.  He specialized in insurance consulting services in the area of individual risk management, insurance product and carrier due care analysis, and corporate and trust owned life insurance. His responsibilities ranged from delivering insurance consulting services to the firm's clients nationwide to creating various cross-selling opportunities within the firm's various practices. Mr. Ziambras has also worked with Northwestern Mutual Life and New York Life in the capacity of financial and insurance planner, agency training manager, and advanced underwriting consultant.

Mr. Ziambras is a graduate of Princeton University, with a degree in Economics, holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College and is an active member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU).  He is a frequent speaker and panelist in various industry conferences and has addressed many local and national groups of professional and high-net-worth individuals on personal financial planning and life insurance issues.
