As many customers have already noticed, DTCC recently redesigned its corporate website, DTCC.com. The new site provides a single gateway to information that previously resided in 14 separate websites. It also has a more powerful search engine that makes it faster and easier for visitors to find what they are looking for.

The redesign project included an extensive customer and user interview process, along with a review of industry best practices for Web design and online communications.
"The corporate website is one of our most powerful tools for communicating DTCC's expansive reach across the industry," said William Aimetti, DTCC COO. "The new site significantly strengthens our online identity and ability to reach a global audience. It delivers clarity, accuracy and consistency in terms of content and image. What's more, it has a user-friendly, interactive design that reflects our commitment to world-class customer service, innovation and industry leadership."

The new site benefits from tighter security and more robust business continuity capabilities. In an emergency, DTCC will have greater flexibility for communicating quickly with customers via the website. In addition, the redesign has added new hosting services and a "hot" backup recovery site to provide geographic diversity to the infrastructure. The site also has expandable architecture that can accommodate future growth and better tools for analyzing traffic.
"More than 1.3 million visitors logged onto DTCC.com last year, which means it reaches a wider audience than any other communications vehicle," said Stuart Z. Goldstein, DTCC managing director, Corporate Communications. "With this reach and impact, the site is a global showcase for our corporate brand, products and services, messages and thought leadership initiatives."
Easy transition
Visitors to any of the previous DTCC web addresses will be automatically forwarded to the appropriate section of the new site to ensure a seamless transition until September. In addition, subsidiary and product websites with secure sections that provide content for members will remain active until a later phase in the project.
