New York, December 21, 2000 - Roberta Sonenfeld of Ridgewood, N.J. has been appointed managing director-Quality and Business Process Engineering at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). In this role, Ms. Sonenfeld will identify strategies and develop programs to increase customer satisfaction and promote efficiencies throughout the organization.
Ms. Sonenfeld has held a number of senior management posts in the financial services industry, including managing director-Global Securities and Client Services at Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust; division executive and vice president of Worldwide Securities Operations and Technology at Citibank; and as vice president of Securities Processing Operations at Chase Manhattan Bank.
She received her undergraduate degree at Hunter College and holds an MBA in finance from St. John's University.
