The service is open to all financial institutions - broker/dealers, banks, investment managers, hedge funds and any firm that tracks corporate action information and its impact on securities positions.
June 29, 2005 DTC Begins Testing for Agency Lending Disclosure The Depository Trust Company (DTC), a subsidiary of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), is testing a new service that transmits data between agent lenders and borrowers to support industry guidelines that call for greater transparency in agency securities lending. Both agent lenders and the broker/dealers who borrow securities will be able to use the service to transmit and receive loan information.
June 28, 2005 FICC to Expand Settlement to Certain Buy Side Institutions Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) has received SEC approval for two new membership categories that will expand settlement of U.S. Government securities transactions to the buy side community, including mutual funds and other registered investment institutions. This is a significant step in FICC's efforts to bring straight-through processing (STP) and greater risk management to the fixed income institutional marketplace.
June 27, 2005 Communicator Inc and DTCC Deriv/SERV Create Link to Streamline OTC Derivatives Confirmation Process Communicator Inc and The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced today that they are forming a link to help centralize post-trade processing for OTC derivatives trade confirmation for end user firms that are using both services. This effort, which will provide, among other things, a single place for users to upload trade data and track confirmation statuses, aims to help these firms realize the benefits of a comprehensive electronic processing solution for OTC derivatives.
