DTCC Insurance & Retirement Services’ Analytic Reporting for Annuities Service Nominated for a 2011 ‘Model of Excellence’ Award from InfoCommerce Group
New York, October 14, 2011 — The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced today that its Insurance & Retirement Services’ (I&RS) new online Analytic Reporting for Annuities service has been shortlisted for a 2011 “Model of Excellence” award from InfoCommerce Group. The InfoCommerce Models of Excellence awards, produced by InfoCommerce Group, highlight and profile industry ‘Best of Breed’ information products that demonstrate how real revenue can be generated by selling and distributing information online, with unique content, top-quality data and world class software.
Information and Intelligence
The Analytic Reporting for Annuities service is an online information solution containing aggregated data from millions of daily transactions processed by DTCC’s I&RS business. The solution provides insurance companies and broker/dealers with a unique view of their own business and business relationships, as well as the overall market for annuity products.
Developed with the active input of an advisory group of member firms, the Analytic Reporting Service for Annuities was piloted in late 2010 by the advisory group, which provided I&RS with feedback about how this data should be used, and what kinds of information should be presented.
DTCC launched Analytic Reporting in June after partnering with Infinata to develop the solution. Infinata, a provider of information and analytic solutions, was selected by DTCC based on the fit of its technology with the transaction data and because of its reputation in the financial services industry.
