AccuBasis
AccuBasis is a Web-based service that delivers cost-basis information quickly, accurately and efficiently for a broad variety of financial services firms and their customers. Firms such as mutual fund companies, security issuers, transfer agents and broker/dealers offer AccuBasis to their investors as a way to calculate cost-basis information for tax purposes and to determine the unrealized gains or losses of a securities position.
Asset Servicing
Asset Servicing provides a broad range of services for custody and corporate actions including safekeeping services for physical securities, data information for DTC-eligible securities, dividend, proxy and reorganization services, restricted securities services, as well as the electronic registration and transfer of securities.
Global Tax Services
Global Tax Services offers a variety of services for both domestic and international clients including tax data services, withholding services and tax relief for DTC customers and their clients, U.S. withholding tax services for non-U.S. institutions, and a year-end tax information reporting and data services.
Underwriting Services
Underwriting Services is the starting point for all securities offerings at DTC. Through this service, underwriters can distribute both primary and second offerings of securities quickly and economically via electronic book-entry delivery and settlement. These newly issued securities are then available for the full range of depository services.
