The Legal Notice System (LENS) offers access to a comprehensive library of notices concerning DTC-eligible securities which are published and furnished by third party, public or private agents and agencies, courts and security issuers.

Who Can Use the Service

The LENS service was developed for DTC member banks and brokers (“participants”). Non-participants may also be eligible to use the service by special contract and fee schedule. Non-participants can email lensweb@dtcc.com for details.

• Ability to stay abreast of notices of interest by setting email alerts with custom filters that meet your business needs
• Search options, including by keyword, CUSIP or notice type/subtype, allowing you to zero in on the notices you need
• E-mail forwarding of selected notices to interested parties

How the Service Works

Users can search for notices by CUSIP, keyword -- such as company name, notice type or LENS document number. Once the desired notice is found it can be viewed, downloaded or emailed. If all recently posted notices are desired, users can simply bulk download all of them at once.

To keep abreast of particular notices of interest, users may register to get free email alerts customized to their business needs. By setting appropriate filters, users will receive email alerts either daily or weekly when notices meeting their criteria are posted to LENS. Alerts can be set for specific notice categories or particular CUSIPs.

Legal Notice System (LENS) Pricing for DTC Participants

Participants can elect to access notices on a per notice or subscription basis. Offering unlimited viewing and downloading of notices for a fixed fee, a subscription is most economical for large volume users.
