In late 2007 the central settlement function went live in DTCC Deriv/SERV’s Trade Information Warehouse for a pilot group of major over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives dealers.
The service processes both daily settlements of fees as well as periodic payments such as monthly and quarterly rolls. In the first quarterly settlement cycle for the new service, 340,000 gross settlements by the participating dealers were consolidated to 123 net settlements.
Breaking New Ground in 'Credit Event' Processing
DTCC added support for credit-event processing to the Warehouse in 2007, after extensive testing with market participants.
