Original position is generally equal to your eligible position. It will remain constant for the life of the event. Adjusted Position |
In an original lottery, the original position and the adjusted position are the same. In a supplemental lottery, this is the position after any previous lottery adjustments have been made. |

Called Position |
The affected position, or the portion of the eligible position that is called by the lottery. For partial pre-refundings, this is the refunded position; for partial defeasements, this is the defeased position. |

Uncalled Position |
The unaffected position, or the portion of the eligible position that is not called by the lottery. For partial pre-refundings, this is the non-refunded position; for partial defeasements, this is the non-defeased position. |

Obligated Balance |
An obligated balance occurs when the affected balance is greater than the settled position. For example, this can happen when a call notice is received late and the prior record date position is greater than what is currently settled. |
