Mark Steadman

Mark Steadman

Mark Steadman serves as Head of DTCC Report Hub services at DTCC. Specializing in trade reporting and risk management, Mark has led numerous projects through transformation and change management at DTCC since 2014 and was recently DTCC’s European Head of Product Development and Change Management for the Global Trade Repository (GTR) service.

Prior to DTCC, Mark held various positions at UBS, National Australia Bank, and Sapient where he co-led its regulatory reporting practice and engagements on CFTC and EMIR reporting.

Mark holds a Bachelors in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Leeds University, UK, and an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, Australia.

Aziz Faiza

Faizal Aziz

Faizal Aziz runs the APAC Product Management function in DTCC and has been in financial services since 2008. Faizal started off in the Interest Rates and Foreign Exchange Derivatives middle office and he now specializes in managing derivatives regulatory landscape changes across Asia. Faizal is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and influences others around him to succeed. He is often remembered by our clients even till today as the main driver towards delivering the extremely complex 2017 Hong Kong regulatory changes successfully and has then since accomplished several other APAC initiatives such as the ASIC, MAS and JFSA re-architecture programs. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Faizal uses his extensive APAC regulatory knowledge and puts that to great use to everyone around him.

A strong believer in the importance of people development, Faizal enjoys mentoring circles and is developing his coaching skills. Outside of work, Faizal is an avid runner and cyclist and does either activity almost daily, and is training towards an Ironman 70.3 triathlon. .

Sam North

Sam North

Sam North serves as the European Head of Product Management for DTCC’s Global Trade Repository (GTR) service. He is responsible for a number of European GTR initiatives including the EMIR, SFTR and FinfraG services offered from DTCC’s London and Dublin-based Trade Repositories. Having worked at DTCC for over 10 years across a variety of business lines he has extensive knowledge of the post trade lifecycle and regulatory reporting.  

Prior to DTCC Sam held various operational roles at both Abbey National and the Anglo Irish Bank. Sam holds a bachelor’s in business management from the University of Bournemouth.

Andrew Pinnignton-Mannan

Andrew Pinnington-Mannan

Andrew was previously Executive Director and Head of EMEA Derivatives Reporting for Goldman Sachs.  He has focussed on the implementation of regulatory change as well as the day-to-day management of Goldman’s European regulatory obligations for not only the firm, but its clients as well. 

Andrew was Goldman Sachs’ representative on the DTCC Steering Committee and in addition represented the firm at ISDA and FIA Working Groups. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked as a management consultant on various regulatory change projects.

Max Makhoul

Max Makhoul

Max is a Business Analyst with nearly 15 years' experience working in financial services. He began his career in electronic trade processing for the industry’s leading OTC derivatives trade confirmations platform, specializing in trade workflows and lifecycle event management across Credit, Rates and Equities. 

  

With a subsequent transition into regulatory reporting in an IT capacity for a tier 1 investment bank, he's witnessed the industry adapt to transformational regulatory reforms while working in teams delivering transaction reporting solutions for CFTC, EMIR and MiFID II.

Benoit Julia

Benoit Julia

With 12 years experience, Benoit has an extensive background in both financial services and project management within financial regulation and control.

He started his career within a Tier 2 bank working as an analyst in settlements before becoming responsible for risk and control assessments. Benoit then moved to one of the big 4 leading large teams in the regulatory space - implementing regulatory framework governance. Projects include driving implementation of a Brexit Target Operating Model and designing and implementing cross border control frameworks.

Benoit is fluent in both French and English and has multiple project management and business accreditations.

James Krukowski

James Krukowski

James has worked in the financial services industry for 15 years and 10 years as a Business Analyst across a variety of change projects which includes BCBS239, Transaction Reporting (MiFID I and Dodd-Frank), FATCA, Operational Risk and Interest Rate Derivatives.

James has a consulting background having worked at Sapient and Rule Financial where his projects covered a variety of roles including regulatory interpretation, requirements gathering, Target Operating Models, project/BAU governance, process mapping and gap analysis.

David Kirby

David Kirby

David Kirby is the securities practice lead for DTCC Consulting Services. Additionally, he serves as Executive Director, Americas Relationship Management & Global Account Management at DTCC. Within this role, he is responsible for managing strategic client activities across all DTCC businesses, ensuring client satisfaction and driving value across services. Previously, he was responsible for managing the America’s Relationship Management team at Omgeo.

David has over 25 years of experience in the financial and technology industry with expertise in global relationship management and sales, custom application design and development, trade management systems, and business development. David graduated with a BBS in Marketing from the University of Miami.

Kieran Mullaley

Kieran has more than 25 years experience working with investment banks, and other major financial services firms, to deliver large scale global transformation initiatives.

He has extensive expertise building and leading large, high performing consultancy and programme teams, and successfully developing innovative solutions to complex industry challenges.

Kieran’s experience includes operational and technology transformation, operating model design, regulatory change, front to back process improvement, client outreach and onboarding, post merger integration and programme management.

Ryan Baccus

Ryan provides leadership and oversight for the delivery of DTCC Consulting Services. He has held leadership roles in a number of major financial institutions and consulting organizations in financial services. Ryan brings with him a unique approach to project delivery, which places enhanced emphasis on client success and collaboration to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Ryan began his career in financial services working in Operations, leveraging his earlier Technology experience to deliver initiatives to automate and streamline business processes. His delivery record includes complex, industry-wide programs on behalf of major financial market infrastructure providers, global vendors and industry associations. Ryan prides himself on the experiences he has gained delivering global projects across a diverse set of client types, objectives and stakeholders. These projects have helped him shape his delivery approach, which includes holistic planning, adaptable delivery techniques and a commitment to always delivering a high-quality end-product.

Ryan has operated as a trusted adviser for several DTCC projects, including Repository and Derivatives Services (RDS) and Intuitional Trade Processing (ITP) initiatives, combining a deep understanding of DTCC products with a practitioner view of the capital markets to help develop innovative solutions.

Simmon Rees Goddard

Simmon Rees Goddard

Simon leads the Sales and Relationship Management function of DTCC Consulting Services. He has worked at a number of major global financial institutions, honing his skills in Program Management, before moving on to roles that allowed him to exercise his enthusiasm for developing client relationships. Over the course of his career, Simon has gained a deep understanding of the financial markets post-trade environment through his extensive work with banks, custodians, vendors, the buy-side community and trade associations.

Recently Simon founded several successful consulting businesses specializing in financial services. He is responsible for the development of major client portfolios, managing global senior Sales and Marketing teams, and delivering sustainable long-term growth.

Simon has worked with DTCC in various capacities over the last 15 years to help deliver some of its more complex initiatives including the launch of the Trade Information Warehouse (TIW) and the Global Trade Repository (GTR) service.

During this time, Simon has also served as a Board Member, Founding Member and Leadership Team member for the Derivatives Consulting Group, Sapient Global Markets and base60 Consulting respectively.

Simon Hughes

Simon has more than 30 years’ experience within the Financial Services Industry, the vast majority within Post Trade Securities Services, working for some of the most respected firms within Global Custody and Investment Management. 

His experience spans project, sales and operational remits, managing Asset Services teams in London, Kuala Lumpur and Manila as well as managing programmes of work delivering enhanced efficiency, control and automation right across the securities Post Trade operational space.

Aerron Reynolds

Aerron Reynolds

Aerron has over 13 years of experience within Operations covering a multitude of asset classes. Aerron started her career on the sell-side working for HSBC Investment Bank where she transitioned from Back Office to Middle Office and ultimately managed a client focussed team.

For the past 6 years, Aerron was working in the Middle East for one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds, gaining experience on the buy-side and developing her product knowledge.

Aerron has recently led the settlement efficiency analysis for a US broker to identify pain points and design recommendation to improve this broker’s settlement efficiency.
