DTCC’s Global Trade Repository (GTR) was named Trade Repository of the Year once again at the FOW International Awards ceremony on December 10, 2019 in London. This marks the fourth year in which GTR has been honored with this title, given to the international trade repository that demonstrates excellence in performance, and a commitment to innovation to continually improve that performance.
“This is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of each and every member of the GTR team” comments Valentino Wotton, Managing Director of Product Development and Strategy for DTCC’s Repository and Derivatives Services business. “Receiving this award not once, but four times reinforces GTR’s position as the industry’s provider of choice for global derivatives and securities financing transactions reporting. From continuous improvements to our client service and support model to the expansion of GTR to help clients meet their Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) reporting obligations, the GTR platform’s success story continues and will evolve further well into the future” he explains.
“We would also like to thank our clients for their continued support and guidance” adds Chris Childs, Managing Director, Head of Repository and Derivatives Services at DTCC, and Chief Executive Officer and President of DTCC Deriv/SERV LLC. “Client feedback has been essential in the evolution of GTR’s support practices to meet the industry’s changing demands. We are constantly listening to and working with our clients to develop and deliver innovative services that enable clients to comply with regulations in supported jurisdictions while reducing cost and operational risk while also increasing operating efficiencies” Childs concludes.
