DTCC Named Silver LearningElite Organization by Chief Learning Officer Magazine
by Patrice Ficociello
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC) was named a Silver LearningElite organization for 2015 by Chief Learning Officer magazine, published by Human Capital Media (HCM).
The LearningElite program is composed of organizations that perform above a benchmark standard for implementing learning and development (L&D) best practices. Organizations are recognized for their execution and impact of these L&D initiatives. The award was presented at HCM’s 2015 Spring CLO Symposium in Miami.
"The DTCC Learning team is dedicated to delivering business-driven, client-focused educational tools to keep our clients up-to-date on the services provided by DTCC’s subsidiaries," said Sheldon Warrick, DTCC Managing Director, Global Relationship Management. "DTCC Learning is proud to have earned this prestigious award for our organization."
The LearningElite program is the only peer-ranking and benchmarking program of its kind. It applies rigorous evaluation methodologies to objectively assess both the scope and value of participants’ L&D practices. The award is based on a number of factors, including strategy, implementation, executive leadership support and use of technology.
"DTCC Learning is unique among the LearningElite competitors because our learning initiatives are focused on our external clients," explained Kaliym Islam, Vice President, DTCC Learning. "The courses and certifications we provide benefit the financial services community overall."
