When the PBS EDS Approval Process is enabled for a given service, you may not create or update instructions in PTS for that service. For example, the EDS election matrix in PTS will be display-only when the Approval Process is enabled in PBS. In order to use PTS to create election instructions, the EDS Approval Process would need to be disabled.
If an event is eligible for multiple services and the EDS Approval Process is enabled for at least one of the services, you may not create or update instructions in PTS for that event in any of the services. For example, if an event is eligible for the Dividend Reinvestment Program (DRP) as well as Foreign Currency Payment (FCP), and the EDS Approval Process is enabled for DRP and disabled for FCP, you may not create or update instructions in PTS for either DRP or FCP.
