Brian Gallagher

Brian Gallagher serves as a DTCC Board Member and is the Global Head of Markets Operations at J.P. Morgan. In this role at J.P. Morgan, he manages a global team responsible for all aspects of the operational support of the Markets, Sales and Trading businesses. The role encompasses trade capture, life-cycle management, client service, regulatory adherence, confirmation, settlement, strategy, resilience and transformation. He has held this role since March 2023.

Brian’s previous positions at the firm have included Head of Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities Operations (June 2020 – Feb 2023), Head of Global FX Settlement Operations and Americas FX and Rates Middle Offices (2018-2020), Head of Americas FX and Rates Middle Offices (2013-2018) and various other roles prior. He joined J.P. Morgan as an intern and has been with the firm for over 22 years.

He graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Finance.

Brian lives in New York with his wife and three children.
