Laide Majiyagbe

Laide Majiyagbe is Managing Director, Global Head of Financing, Liquidity and Collateral at BNY.

In her role, she oversees BNY’s cash ecosystem across money markets, deposit and other short end investments. She has oversight for the firm’s Global Securities Financing businesses which offer solutions for clients to optimize earnings on their assets and raise financing. The Securities Financing business includes the industry’s largest global agency lending program. Her leadership also spans across the margin services business.

Laide also maintains executive oversight of the firm’s Global Collateral business, the largest global triparty collateral manager. In addition to these responsibilities, Ms. Majiyagbe serves as the President of the BNY Government Securities Services Corp.

Laide is a global thought leader, sought-out speaker and panelist for her expertise in Financing, Liquidity and Collateral.

Prior to joining BNY, Laide spent over a decade in the industry where she held a variety of Liquidity, Financing and Collateral leadership roles. She holds a first-class degree (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Queen Mary University.
