New Issue Information Dissemination Service

Accelerate Municipal New-Issue Readiness

Municipal new issues require accurate, timely reference data before trading can begin. The New Issue Information Dissemination Service (NIIDS) gives lead managers, underwriters, placement agents and their authorized representatives a centralized, automated way to submit required information electronically as part of DTC’s New Issue Eligibility process.

NIIDS works in tandem with New Issue Eligibility to move a municipal security from pending review toward trade-eligible and settlement-eligible status. By collecting and disseminating standardized new-issue data through a common workflow, the service helps dealers access key information before the time of first execution, supporting timely trade reporting, price transparency and regulatory compliance. These capabilities help accelerate market readiness, strengthen data transparency and reduce manual handoffs, processing errors and operational risk during the municipal issuance process.
