GTR provides transaction reporting services for derivatives in the U.S. and Canada through the legal entity DTCC Data Repository (U.S.) LLC (DDR). DDR is registered as a Swap Data Repository (SDR) with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), a registered Security-Based Swap Data Repository (SBSDR) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and is authorized by Canadian regulators to provide derivatives reporting services in all Canadian provinces and territories.

CFTC

As a CFTC registered SDR, DDR enables firms to meet their reporting obligations under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Pub.L. 111-203, H.R. 4173) for all five derivatives asset classes. DDR accepts trade submissions directly from reporting firms as well as through third-party service providers.

In accordance with CFTC regulations, DDR supports the submission of all applicable trade and valuation data. DDR also provides a mechanism for real-time price reporting.


SEC

As a SEC registered SBSDR, DDR enables firms to meet their reporting obligations under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

DDR accepts trade submissions directly from reporting firms as well as through third-party service providers.


Canada

DDR supports derivatives trade reporting under Canadian regulations for all Canadian provinces and territories (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, Newfoundland and Labrador).

DDR accepts trade submissions directly from reporting firms as well as through third-party service providers.
