Adam Watson is Managing Director and Head of Asset Services at DTCC, where he is responsible for the strategic direction, performance, and modernization of the firm’s global Asset Services business. In this role, he oversees operational delivery, product innovation, regulatory engagement, and client experience across DTCC’s market critical services.
Adam brings nearly two decades of experience across capital markets, custody, and asset servicing. Prior to joining DTCC, he served as Managing Director of Client Insight & Innovation at BNY, where he led enterprise wide digital transformation initiatives, complex multi product client mandates, and large scale operating model redesigns. Over the course of his tenure at BNY, Adam held senior leadership roles with responsibility for global custody commercial strategy, product development, financial governance, and multi billion dollar client franchises.
Earlier in his career, Adam spent more than a decade at J.P. Morgan in leadership roles spanning global custody product management, finance, and operations. With a career that spans across the United States and the United Kingdom, Watson has vast expertise across global market infrastructure and post‑trade services.
