Rebecca Ashton is Managing Director and Head of Consulting at DTCC. In this role, she is responsible for leading a specialized, global team that partners with clients to tackle significant and complex industry and operational challenges. Whether it's navigating evolving regulatory demands, driving operational efficiency or enhancing resiliency within individual market participant firms, Rebecca and her team deliver strategic, actionable solutions that are grounded in deep industry expertise.

Rebecca has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry where she has worked with many of the largest Investment Banks around the world. Prior to DTCC, Rebecca spent most of her career at Accenture where she held various roles, working her way up to Managing Director where she successfully ran the firm’s European businesses across two large U.S. Investment Banks.

Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in archeology from Reading University. She also obtained a master’s degree in medieval history, Latin and paleography from University of York.
