DTCC’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Laura Deaner was named to the 2025 CSO Hall of Fame, an annual list of leaders in the cybersecurity space compiled by industry trade publication CSO.

The CSO Hall of Fame, now in its seventh year, spotlights outstanding leaders who have significantly contributed to the practice of information risk management and security.

To be considered, executives must have a decade or more experience as a CISO, or in another C-level security, IT, or risk management position and exemplify excellence in security leadership.

Inductees to this year’s CSO Hall of Fame will be celebrated at the upcoming CSO Conference + Awards on October 20-22, 2025. Deaner joins cybersecurity executives from Mastercard, CrowdStrike, Nationwide and the Mount Sinai Health System who were also honored.

Laura Deaner remarked, "Cybersecurity has been an important topic since the internet's inception. In our digital age, staying ahead of cyber threats is vital. I'm honored to be recognized for my dedication to protecting people and companies, and I look forward to continuing this mission as CISO at DTCC."
