Aadesh Gandhre, DTCC Chief Audit Executive, was honored with two awards from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
At the global level, Gandhre received the Chief Audit Executive of the Year Award, part of the IIA’s Excellence Awards which recognize industry leaders who elevate the audit profession through innovation, integrity and strategic vision.
“I am immensely grateful to my exceptional colleagues and the entire Internal Audit team at DTCC, our Board, Executive Committee and stakeholders across the organization whose partnership, trust, and candid feedback continually challenge us to improve and elevate the value internal audit brings to the enterprise,” Gandhre said. “I am equally thankful to the mentors who have guided and supported me throughout my journey.”
This award recognizes chief audit executives whose leadership has fostered cross-cultural collaboration, mentored future audit professionals and delivered transformative impact for future success in a global landscape.
“Leadership in audit isn’t about pointing out what’s wrong. It’s about helping organizations see what’s possible,” said Gandhre. “I’m proud of the work my team does every day to build trust and transparency.”
Complementing the global honor, Gandhre was also named Best Chief Audit Executive by the IIA New York Chapter. This award reflects his influence within the local audit community, where he is known for mentorship, collaboration and a willingness to share insights with peers and emerging professionals.
“New York has some of the most talented audit professionals anywhere. To be recognized here means a great deal,” said Gandhre.
The New York Chapter award is given to internal audit leaders who demonstrate exceptional leadership, impact and contribution to the internal audit profession.
