Deborah Cunningham

Debbie Cunningham serves as a DTCC Board Member and is Chief Investment Officer of Global Liquidity Markets at Federated Hermes, Inc.

She joined Federated Hermes in 1981 as a performance analyst and has more than 35 years of investment experience. In 1994, she took over the management of the Taxable Liquidity group. In addition to the domestic Taxable Liquidity portfolios, Debbie also oversees the management of the domestic Tax-Exempt Liquidity portfolios as well as the Offshore Liquidity products.

Debbie is a current member of the CFA® Society of Pittsburgh and previously held the title of director and president. She also serves as a board member for Robert Morris University, Treasury Market Practices Group, and Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation. She is also the Chair of the Executive Leadership committee for the Greater Allegheny Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease and she serves on the Board of Directors for the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. Debbie is a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council and has recently been named one of Barron’s 100 most influential women in U.S. finance.

Debbie earned a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University and her MBA from Robert Morris University. She is also a CFA® charterholder.
