Dan Thieke is Managing Director and Head of the Enterprise Resiliency Office (ERO) for DTCC, overseeing key initiatives across the organization’s businesses and risk groups. Currently, he is focused on the overall strategy and program management of the firm’s multi-year modernization effort to rearchitect services, systems and operational processes across business areas to deliver increased value and capabilities. He also serves as a member of DTCC’s Management Risk Committee, Resiliency Committee and Employee Benefit Plans Committee.

Prior to this role, Dan served as DTCC’s Managing Director for Business Resilience Management with responsibility for facilitating robust resilience efforts across the firm and before that, as Managing Director and General Manager for Settlement & Asset Services, overseeing the organization’s depository business.

Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame and holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
