Advancing Women Leaders
Supporting women’s empowerment and leadership opportunities is key in the workplace and we
have developed several programs designed to prepare our female workforce, at all levels of the
organization, for opportunities and career development within DTCC.
Our key program is Advancing Women Leaders. This was previously aimed at preparing our Director
level females for senior management opportunities. Having taken note of the McKinsey Women in
the Workplace report, however, we adjusted our program to reflect the ‘broken’ rung. Our focus is
now on how we can help to advance those at early-mid career levels into management roles.
Our Emerging Women Leaders 2022
Emerging Women Leaders is a seven-month program for Senior Associate women at DTCC.
Participants are challenged to grow through a dynamic combination of on-the-job learning
experiences, exposure, and education throughout the program.
Return to Work with Re-Emerge
At DTCC we recognize that getting back into a career after a break can be a challenge and hard to
navigate. You know you have the skills, drive and dedication – it is finding the right opportunity at
the right company. Re-Emerge is return to work program designed for individuals who want to
restart their career after a minimum two-year break. We offer two programs - a 12-week non-tech,
and a 16-week tech program. During the internship which is based in our Jersey City headquarters
(some opportunities are based at our other locations), you’ll experience our unique culture through
hands-on projects, leadership development and networking opportunities
DTCC Inclusion Works
Inclusion works best when we all take part. Growing our awareness of diversity and inclusion (D&I)
and regularly modeling attitudes that build an inclusive environment are crucial for our D&I
strategy at DTCC. As such we have introduced an online/mobile tool for all our employees to easily
access which provides bite-sized learning on D&I topics as well as a safe forum for discussing
content, asking questions, and sharing perspectives.
Men Advocating Real Change (Marc) Workshops
We have strong women’s programs but gender advancement in the workplace is not only a women’s
issue. As such, our global management team, male and female, join immersive and interactive
cross-company workshops to inspire our leaders to stand up for gender equity together. The MARC
immersive interactive workshop encourages courageous dialogue and perspective sharing to build
connections, and recognize and proactively challenge bias and exclusionary behavior.
Mckinsey Black Leadership Programs (Marc)Workshops
We participate in two programs; Black Executive Leadership Program (BELP) and Management Accelerator
Program which were founded on McKinsey’s strengths in strategy, business and professional
development, and the need for addressing challenges that Black professionals face in their growth.
