Anthony Portannese
Anthony Portannese is Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer. He is
responsible for leading all global human resources activities, including the planning,
design and delivery of corporate compensation and benefit programs, executive
compensation programs, employee relations, talent strategies and diversity. In
addition, Anthony oversees DTCC’s Business Transformation Office, which drives
internal strategic and change management programs to support the firm’s business
priorities and is also responsible for the Regional Administrative Managers Group,
which oversees key workforce and cultural initiatives, including employee
engagement, at DTCC locations globally.
Anthony joined The Depository Trust Company (DTC) in 1981. During his career at
the company, he has held numerous leadership roles within Human Resources,
Operations, Real Estate and Corporate Services. He was promoted to Managing
Director in 2005 and serves as Chair on the Foundation Board of the Borough of
Manhattan Community College.
